Where can I get tools?
Buying quality tools doesn’t mean they have to be new. You can often find various tools being sold second-hand for much cheaper prices.
Make sure to keep an eye on any resale websites in your area, e.g. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist etc. as you might be able to grab a bargain. Alternatively, some businesses allow you to rent tools from them.
This can be especially helpful if you only need it for a small job – you get to use a high quality tool without the hassle of buying and reselling it.
If you’re not able to rent or buy second hand, consider looking for a multi-purpose tool that you could use for several different tasks.
It may be more expensive at first, but when you add up the costs of the other tools you’d need, it will likely work out cheaper. It’s also a lot more convenient to search for one tool as opposed to multiple, saving you valuable time.
