What do you see in the image above?
Notes:
- Who can afford an underground pool: some of us can’t – considering the cost can range $20k-$70K and more. So an aboveground swimming pool may be in the budget we have to work with:
underground vs aboveground pools: costs and comparisons - You can still make it look nice, however: by adding a deck that surrounds the aboveground pool and hides the pool wall – as illustrated in the image:
build a deck easily - Note the deck railing and lattice work: couple of items to note – 1) the deck railing: looks nice as it surrounds the pool area with wood slats between each post – it provides a fenced-in area that may be required for insurance and community safety.
- 2) the lattice work that surrounds the deck area – a nice decorative piece that hides the pool lining plus other machinations that operate the pool.
- Landscaping aboveground pool: note the landscaping around the the deck area – shrubs at the deck entrance – some evergreens up front that will grow high as privacy screens – potted plants placed atop the deck:
deck planters
Final observation:
there seems to be a cover house (covered gazebo) for resting or getting out the sun or rain. It could be a dressing area. On the opposite of the deck fence is another deck area for conversation and dining.
The take-away is that an aboveground pool can be made to look nice at the fraction of the cost for an underground pool. What comments what can you share about this photo idea?
