You should likely know how frustrating a clothing space can be if it’s not a perfect blend of practicality and modern elements.
For a lot of people, their wardrobe is a jumble of buried and forgotten pieces and bundles of clothing mess, which makes getting ready messy and stressful, while to very few, their wardrobe is a safe haven full of neatly organized garments, which makes dressing up easier and much more enjoyable.
Creating a perfect wardrobe is not always about the clothes, but a perfect blend of great clothes and a perfect storage solution. This can completely transform your day-to-day, and if you are already in the swing of getting a new wardrobe, I would recommend all of these factors before you do.
Stacked Railings
Maximizing tall spaces with stacked railings means you have so much room to hang all your short stuff, such as your t-shirts, jumpers, and jackets, which you always need space for. You likely have double, if not triple, the amount of tops, hoodies and jumpers in comparison to anything else, so it’s best while you are maximizing the space that you are making sure there is sufficient.
Railings are a much more convenient and better option for hanging the likes of t-shirts. It allows you to find your clothing much easier, but also keeps things organized.
Whether it’s based on color, season or occasion, having railings means you can place separators for extra organization.

Long Line Railings
While it’s great to maximize your space with stacked railings, it’s not great for when you have long dresses, abayas and coats.
So ensure that you have space for these items, as they deserve their own space and will get utilized.
To maximize this space, you could switch out summer/winter items, which means you are overfilling your little spaces, such as your long line railings, with a mixture of items that you won’t be wearing for 6 months out of the year.
Narrow Shelves
You don’t always need large spaces for your stuff. Take into consideration that you have a few accessories that need their own space, but also can act as a nice space for an ornament, candles or a statement product that you have. This could be a designer bag, a designer pair of shoes or something that is extremely sentimental.
I think that while large spaces are needed for volume, it’s nice to have these little convenient spaces for some separation.
Color Co-ordination
While storage is key in any space, it’s equally important to consider the overall aesthetic to create a harmonious and visually appealing design. Pay attention to details like colors, materials, and the styles of door handles, as these small elements can significantly impact the final look.
Consider how these components work together to complement the interior of the space. I would recommend matching the interior design to the exterior for a cohesive and polished appearance.
This not only creates a full, completed look but also adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to your space, making it feel thoughtfully designed and inviting.
Accessories
Your accessories need their own space, as without it, they are just left in a pile, unorganized, and you end up forgetting half of the things you have. There are tailor-made accessory drawers that are a complete lifesaver. One drawer could be for your belts, ties, socks and hats, while another drawer could be for your jewelery and sunglasses.
If you wanted to go the extra mile with your accessory drawers, you could add LED or built-in lights, which add an extra level of luxury and fine detail to your new wardrobe space.
Glamour Cabinet
Now this is something I’ve only heard of recently, but how much of a dream does it sound? A glamour cabinet is everything you need in one convenient space, so you will have your mirror, a light, and shelving space right next to it. This is a perfect placeholder for your everyday jewelery, makeup and hair styling bits. It not only provides a nice little space for things that aren’t a dressing table, which is convenient in space, but it is also great for those who prefer getting ready standing up for the most part.
This is a dream for many people, and if you are in the midst of a wardrobe revamp I would strongly recommend a glamour cabinet.
Final Thoughts
A perfect wardrobe is different for everyone, but there are some staple structures that remain the same, including space for long garments, accessories and the incentive to maximize all the space you have to play with.
I would recommend getting in touch with the professionals who can help with the design process and show you a range of options so you can have time to dwell and make the right decision for your needs and your wardrobe anatomy essentials.
