Repair Asphalt
If there are cracks in the asphalt of the driveway, summer is the time to repair them. For small cracks, all that’s needed is for it to be filled with sand followed by a liquid sealant.
If it’s bigger, mix the sand and the sealant, and pack the paste into the crack with a trowel. It’s also a good idea to seal asphalt in the summer. Simply pour it into the area and work it in with a special broom. Two coats are ideal.
Repair the Roof
There are homeowners who are nervous about going up on their roof, so these people should hire roof repair professionals. For people who don’t mind climbing up on their roof, fixing cracks or small holes and replacing worn or broken wooden or asphalt shingles is simple.

Tools include a pry bar, a hammer, roofing cement, a caulking gun, a flat shovel and a putty knife. Summer is a great time for this repair to avoid large wind or rainstorms.
Repair Fences
Fences tend to take a beating during hard winters. Rotted areas where rails and posts meet should be chiseled out and repaired with T-braces, then treated with caulk that resists rot. Then, the brace should be painted to match the color of the fence.

Patch screens, reinforce corner joints with mending plates, and take out screens and clean them with a garden hose then scrub them with a stiff brush. If screens are rusty, they can be painted.
