5 Things You Didn’t Know Need to Be Replaced in Your House

Enjoy the following pic ideas. Don't forget to leave us a quick comment below.

And please share this post within your social networks.

  • If you are purchasing a new home, you may not be prepared for some of the tasks that are involved in the maintenance of your home. This is especially true if you are a first-time homeowner and are looking to know what you need to do for the very first time.

Some of the tasks that need to be done only take a matter of minutes, while others may be a bit more strenuous.

None of them are difficult when considering replacements to be made, but you can see that for yourself in the list that is found below.

  • Quik scroll to summary outline n' directory ... !

first “items that need to be replaced in your home” idea

1: Air Filters

Notes:

  • It can be easy to forget to replace the air filters and HVAC filters that are found in your home and help keep the air in your home clean. If you do not replace these filters on a normal basis, however, this can lead to a need for expensive HVAC repair in which you will have to contain a professional heating and air company in Utah.
  • Make sure to read the instructions on the filter to understand how often to replace the filters in your home. Some require a replacement as little as every three months, so make sure you understand the instructions given to you carefully.

2. Kitchen Sponges

Notes:

  • Many individuals go several weeks or months even without replacing their kitchen sponges, but they need to be replaced at least once a month or every two weeks. If you do all of your dishes without a dishwasher, replacements will need to come more often than that though.
  • Even before a replacement comes, make sure you are sanitizing your sponges to remove any bacteria and grime that may build up. Just microwave it for 30 seconds or boil it in water, or you can even put it in your dishwasher for quick sanitation that will help keep you healthy!

3. Water Filter

Notes:

  • If you live in the city limits especially, you probably use a water filter in some way or form. Even if you do not live in the city limits, you may use a water filter on your refrigerator if it has a built-in water maker. .
  • Make sure to replace that filter on a regular basis so that you do not have the growth of mildew and so that it works as it should. Be sure to replace the filter if you use one on your faucet or use a pitcher with a filter as well for the same reasons according to the instructions.

4. Fire Extinguisher

Notes:

  • If you have a fire extinguisher in your home, it will have an expiration date on it. This device is truly life-saving if your home does happen to have a fire or your neighbor does. Make sure to check the gauge on the extinguisher once a month, even if it has not expired, to ensure it is still working as it should.
  • As soon as the expiration date passes or if the gauge is not working, replace your extinguisher as soon a possible for your safety.

5. Pillows

Notes:

  • Pillows can collect dust, dirt, and bacteria easily over time which can make you sick when you are sleeping on them every night. Make sure you replace your pillows on an annual basis or every other year, being sure to replace them sooner if they have build-up on them.
  • You do not have to worry though, as you do not have to replace your decorative pillows not near as often if at all. You can also wash your pillows according to the instructions on them so that you do not have to make as many replacements on them.
  • FINAL THOUGHTS

It is important to make the necessary replacements in your home for the maintenance of your home and for your health and safety. Not doing so can lead to serious consequences such as illnesses and infections, diseases, and even the entire replacement of an HVAC system in your home.

  • These replacements are so simple to do and so simple to test for, so there is no excuse why they should not be done. Be sure to follow the instructions on any of your home products though for the most efficient information you need on making replacements.
