Interior Brick walls
Notes:
- Brick is a classic masonry that has been used to beautify homes for centuries. Homeowners generally prefer brick because it is durable and requires very little maintenance. There are also many types to choose from depending on the look you’re attempting to achieve.
- The four predominant styles that appeal to most homeowners are as follows:
- The question is how to convert an existing wall to a brick wall? You can expose existing brick, layer brick blocks or veneer to your wall, or install faux brick. Either option will give you the brick styling that you are looking for.
- May we suggest that you start with peel n’ stick brick wallpaper. Stick it up to your walls and see if the color and style matches your decor styling. If so, peel off the wallpaper and install actual brick. This way you can play with different brick colors and styling to get the perfect match before making brick install investment.

Sand lime bricks
Notes:
- This type of brick is second on the list in terms of popularity. As the name suggests, sand-lime is created when sand and lime are combined with fly ash during the wet mixing chemical process. Also referred to as self-centering bricks, sand lime bricks are very strong.
- The bricks have a very smooth consistency due to the absence of the plastering process that other bricks go through. Sand lime bricks are also gray in color. A lot can be done with sand-lime bricks, such as 3D sculptures and unique shapes.

Engineering bricks
Notes:
- These bricks are strong, dense, and created at very high temperatures. Engineering bricks come in classes A and B, with B being the least expensive. These bricks are also highly resistant to water and chemicals. They are most often used for special interior masonry jobs, and they can be a bit pricey. These bricks can also be molded and shaped with interesting details.
- Engineering bricks are great for interior design jobs. Because they are water-resistant, they are ideal for creating interior waterfalls and other such designs. If you want to create an interior water feature, engineering bricks may be perfect for the job.
