access may be a simple driveway from a curbed street – no main issue. Or the access may be a long, dirt road that needs to be maintained. Make sure the access is open and easy to keep up.

the property may have a boat or landing dock. Do a thorough inspection of the dock materials for any damage and deteriation. If the property doesn’t have a landing, deterime whether the shoreline can support and/or allow for a landing or boat dock.

friends and family will be visiting during the lake season, so does the area have an entertainment spot for sitting by the fire. If yes, how does it look and has it been maintained. If not, can the area support an entertainment patio or deck with a wood-burning pit.
