It has been said that the kitchen is the heart of a home, and with good reason. In addition to daily cooking and dishes, family members congregate to sample recipes, assist with tasks, and get snacks from the fridge or pantry. Consider replacing the lighting for a brighter workspace. Some companies, like RWC, also know that you could add or install a corner cupboard for pantry items unless you already have a storage pantry. Move the dining table if there is one to a corner or wall to open up the center space. Upgrade your appliances for a fresher look. Have new countertops installed. It won’t look like the same room.

Add Curb Appeal

Although curb appeal is mainly thought of in terms of buyers, enhance it for your own enjoyment. Trim the lawn, remove weeds, and a add a landscaped section if it fits. Even a small rock garden or lamp post adds interest.

Trim any trees to keep them looking neat. Have the house power washed for a clean appearance. Paint the shutters or porch for something new.

Your home will look like new with a few modest renovations. Enjoy your new surroundings at a fraction of a new home’s cost.
