What do you see in the image above?
- What’s in your attic: I bet we can guess really quick – a bunch of storage items and junk. The attic seems to the final stopover for home and personal items before we decide to discard them. And who knows, maybe your attic has some treasures that you never thought were there:

- Time for using your attic wisely: what you can do is clean your attic space out and convert it into an extra room that can function as your personal hideaway. For example, a cozy section where you can enjoy the night lights while sitting by the fire.
- What do you need to achieve this spectacular setting:
- a) sky windows:
the attic is the place for star or city gazing. Having sky windows would give you a spectacular view that would make this room one of your favorites:

- b) leave the beams as is:
many attics have trusses and other beams that basically holds up the roof. Leave them as is – with perhaps some structural changes to give you more space. You can use those beams to hang pictures, house plants or leave them as they are by staining them to get the vintage look:

- c) let there be light:
pendant lighting would look best – especially using the industrial industrial look. Hang them sporadically to light up the entire attic space. Make sure to add dimmers to change the light to fit the mood of the evening:

- d) pallet furniture:
nothing special – you could use pallets for the furniture base with some comfortable seating. The table and chairs are styles that you can hire out to a woodworking specialist to quickly assemble without much cost:

- e) wood burning stove:
you may want to expense the cost to run duct work to heat and cool the attic. So look into ductless systems and possibly a wood burning stove to give you a nice evening fire:

- a) sky windows:
just an example of what you can do with your attic space. Other ideas include making an attic bedroom – rec room – artists room – home office – or you can leave it as a collection space for all the stuff that you probably don’t need.
