New Countertops:
Granite or quartz countertops are what’s in. And for a kitchen this size, it wouldn’t take much investment to install new countertops. It will make your kitchen stand out even with it’s galley size.
- If the cost of granite is too much, then considering “painting” your countertop using a granite countertop paint kit. It will give you the look and feel of granite that comes with a glossy shine. A better option is an undermount kitchen sink – where the countertop comes right up to the area where the sink has been mounted below the counter. The undermount maximizes your counter space and makes clean-up easier with rag swoosh from the counter right into the sink.
- Also opt for a high spout kitchen faucet. It functions nicely when placing big pans under the faucet for water fill and clean-up.
