- Think hard and think big. See where you want the island to be and pick a strategically spot. You will then need to outline of the base of the island on your floor with the usage of painter’s tape. - The island will then securely fit over those solid wooden blocks. This will keep your island securely in place to enjoy and use. And now all you have to do is focus on maintenance; you will also have to do counter kitchen cleaning to keep the new addition of your home bright and shiny, and ready to use for the next time you decide to cook. Now go back to your new island and start enjoying it.
