Enjoy the changing of the leaves

Notes:

  • Welcome to October – the month when the leaves begin to change color to give us magnificent display of oranges, reds, and yellow.
  • Some of the most beautiful fall foliage can be found in New England and along the Appalachian range. But no matter where you are located, you can enjoy the changing of the colors in nearby parks and your backyard.
  • If you plan to make a foliage trip, be sure to check areas when the peak of the colors will be on display. This peak generally starts in early October in the Northern parts and move southward into early and mid-November towards the South.
  • This is a perfect get-out-the-door activity for a weekend trip to view the changing colors of October.
