If you have a small living room, you can place the sofa closer to the hallway entry area to give the room a larger look.

Have Fun With Old Wallpaper

Find good uses for your old wallpaper. You can cut large sheets of the wallpaper and use them as liners in your dresser drawers.

If you’re good at sewing, you should create neat looking placemats for the kitchen table. Wallpaper can also be used to line your kitchen countertops if they are badly stained from messes over the tears.

Some people even use the wallpaper to create replicas of vinyl chairs from the 50s and 60s for a retro look.

Finally, decorate your old colored kitchen cabinets with old wallpaper pieces.

Hang Up Old Baby Clothes on Wall

If you’re decorating your baby boy’s room, take some of the clothes that he no longer wears and frame them before hanging them up on the wall as decor. Choose the best outfits and look for pieces of clothing that have the most style.

For example, if his room is nautical style, you can hang up mostly his old navy, white and blue outfits on the wall to complement the other decorations in the room. Another idea would be to hang up clothing with slogans that discuss the sea, boats and the Navy.
