On Monday we discussed how to take the living room and kitchen to the next level. Today we will conclude this topic on making your boring rooms breathtaking by talking about the bedroom and guest bathroom…

Bedroom

The best place in your house. You wake up and sleep here. Your clothes are in here. Just about 90% of the things you do happen in here. To help keep clothes organized, give them there own drawers. Separate shorts from pants and tanks from sleeves. Make sure you hang up your nicer clothes to prevent wrinkles.

Painting the walls a soothing color like a lavender can help ease and put you to sleep. It can also help with the romantic part of your life. If you have a television, angle it off of the corner of the bed so the light doesn’t directly go into your eyes while you sleep.

One of the best investments you can make is blackout curtains. Humans sleep better in dark conditions.

Buy a drawer and screw it to the underside of your bed to store things like the remote, flashlights, condoms or even a gun for intruders.

The Guest Bathroom

This one is singled out since only guests use it. Always keep air freshener and a plunger in there as well as plenty of toilet paper. Don’t use tile walls in the bathroom because they make the bathroom look outdated. Go for a waterproof paint and color it sea foam green or teal. If you have the money, put in marble walls for a modern finish. Install white lights in the bathroom for a brighter color scheme.

Doing these few simple things you can turn any house into a beautiful, organized home that you can look forward to seeing after a long day of work. You may have noticed you can do a lot of these for free or very inexpensively and in turn save you money for a complete redo.
