Typically a Sunday goes away in getting up late, watching TV and doing grocery shopping. At the end of the day, you realize that it was a holiday that you wasted and you are not even energetic to face the rest of the week!
In addition, there is a lot of work that you had planned for Sunday but did not get time to finish it. So you can try and change your Sunday schedule and see how things fall in place and leave you feeling a lot better too!
1. Wake up early.
This sounds so difficult. But this is the mainstay of having a fruitful Sunday. Think of any fun activity that you may wish to do along with your family on a Sunday. This will be enough motivation for all of you to get up early on a Sunday morning!
It can be a fishing trip, a trip to the neighborhood park, cycling up a nearby hill or a swim. Choose an activity all of you like and spend the early morning doing it. A physical activity will rejuvenate all of you and make you fit too! Besides, you would be spending quality family time together!
2. Have a family brunch.
Opt for a healthy wholesome family brunch made by the whole family together. Divide work. The younger ones can make salad or lay the table. After this, spend some time in cleaning up the garden, backyard or just painting your fence. Spend the afternoon resting, as you would be tired from the day’s activities
3. Time for your home.
Spend the evening in doing your pending household work. This can include shifting your furniture around, cleaning up the drawers or just shopping for grocery. Get your whole family involved.
You can even choose to clean up your kid’s bedroom. Make sure that all of you do it together. It will be more fun that way and the work also gets done faster.
4. Enjoy the evening.
Sunday cannot be complete without entertainment. Keep your evening for a dinner out, movie or for just chilling with friends. As you can see, you have done a lot of work, spent quality time together and now you are celebrating this day.
Once you make your Sunday productive, you would be relishing it. This would be energizing enough to make the rest of the week cheerful for you.
Try to make this into a habit and share these same thoughts with your friends too. In fact, you would be seeing how many of them will be grumbling to you how messy their whole week is as they could not get their Sunday organized enough.
Just share this article with them through social media such as Facebook and others and see how things change for them too!
