A dedicated room gives you more space and privacy for designing your home office solution. You can add desks, storage, decoration and even sofas or accent chairs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"none\">The spare room could double as both a home office and a guest bedroom. If you have enough space you could align a wall with a desk and storage solutions while fitting a bed in the room for additional sleeping spaces. Or you could look at adding a sofa bed to the home office that can be extended when it is needed. <\/li>\n<li class=\"none\">Other areas of the home to consider:\n<ul class=\"post4 dash line\" style=\"margin-top: -20px !important\">\n<li class=\"first\">\n<h5>Attic:<\/h5>\n<p>how about converting the attic space into a home office area. You can allocate part of the attic for storage and then convert the other part into a home office. You will likely have to install HVAC needs for cool summers and warm winters.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Basement:<\/h5>\n<p>  \t\tpart of you basement (if you have one) can be sectioned off to become a home office. The advantage of the basement is the temperature &#8211; it pretty much the same temperature year round with no or minimal needs for HVAC.  The disadvantage is the lack of windows and natural lighting; it could get somewhat depressing.<\/li>\n<li class=\"last\">\n<h5>Garage:<\/h5>\n<p>that depends whether or not you need the garage for your autos.
