They have gained in popularity in recent years given the many movies and TV series about a Zombie invasion. But what are Zompies? They are decaying corpses that crawl out of their graves to feed on living flesh &#8211; usually the brains of their victims.<\/li>\n<li class=\"none\">They are the undead with a functioning heart, lungs and parts of a brain that are still working. Just like living humans, our body continues to replenish new cells to replace dead or damaged cells. For the dead, they need to come out of their graves to feed upon living human brains in order to replenish their decaying body.<\/li>\n<li>So it starts with the dead coming out of their graves &#8211; no matter when or where they were buried.
